30 min brainstorming/demo session identifying key structures of the block du jour (Flying Geese)
10 min in-depth pattern specific, visualization/meditation
90-110 min of flow-sewing
30 min community wrap-up, sharing session

My goal as an improviser and teacher is to hand to you a range of pattern possibilities, so that you can discover YOUR way of making patterns. The beauty of improv is you can’t do it wrong!
Whether you are new to quilting, to improv quilting, or improv quilting we all have the freedom to begin where we are and continue to grow. Building on content from The Improv Handbook For Modern Quilters, my workshops encourage ALL participants to tap into their beginner’s mind.
Sewing machine, ironing station, rotary cutter/mat, scissors required + fabric stash, scraps or upcycled materials.
